Lansing copyright attorney, Matthew C. Wyman joined Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes in 2011 after practicing in Chicago for three years. He joins the firm's growing practice in the fields of Lansing franchise law and hospitality law. Matt’s practice focuses on the prosecution of trademark and copyright registrations, general franchise law and corporate law, and general business litigation. He is admitted to practice in all Michigan and Illinois state and federal courts.

While in law school, Matt enjoyed time on the Honor Roll and Dean’s list. He was the president of the DePaul Chapter of the Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity. Prior to joining the Okemos lawyers at FSBR, Matt served as a prosecuting attorney for municipalities in the greater Chicago area for nearly three years. As a prosecutor, Matt had the opportunity to try jury trials and conduct numerous probable cause and evidence suppression hearings. Matt credits early trial and courtroom experience as one of the best “boot camps” that a young attorney can experience.

In his spare time, Matt is an avid snowboarder, cook, and a passionate fan of college football.
